Can anybody recommend you some good websites or any information for you on Hispanic Health Practices?
I make a report in my student days Nursing assessment class for the cultural impact of diet and disease processes of the Hispanic culture. I am also the specific guidelines that I have received. Dietary Practices such as: My hobby? Forbidden Food? Festive food? How food is prepared and consumed? Assumptions about foods that cause or cure Diseases? Is fasting (not eating) a part of the culture and how they define these days? What are their significance? You can always get samples! Perhaps a cross-cultural Breakfast on this day? Be Creative! Cultural effects on disease processes, disease processes, there was mainly in the cultural group? What specific practices contribute able if? ever Any cultural practices that can promote health? (Can support statistical research information presented does not help) Concerns, much research and reading on my own doing. I just wanted to hear some of you. Thanks in Advance, Robin

If you are trying to lose weight and/or lower your cholesterol, grapefruit should be a major staple in your diet. A normal size grapefruit is only about 74 calories. (leave off the sugar and try a little cinnamon)
The major benefits of this fruit are:
1. It contains 15 grams of pectin (this fiber is linked to lowering cholesterol and reducing fat).
2. It is high in viamin C and potassium.
3. It is fat free and contains no sodium.

Two days ago, after my husband and I finished cutting a customer’s lawn, I got a craving for a milkshake. It’s been so many years since I’ve had one. I couldn’t even think of a place in town that made them.
I went to this icee place and had to settle for a root beer ice cone. I didn’t care for it. It tasted wayyy too sweet. Since I don’t care much for sugar, I wasn’t able to eat it.

Caloi How many should I eat?
I OT freedieting.com and presented as the amount of calories that I eat: 1306 calories / day for fat loss and 1632 calories / day for weight maintenance. That sounds good for 130 pounds, 5'3 ", 14 years old walking 4 miles three days a week? How accurate are these calculators? (I know everyone is different, but some are out there?) The last time I went, the doctor said I should lose a few pounds, but did not give me any advice on HWO to do so.
