As one of the respondents mentioned, go fat-free is not a good idea is not healthy. Interestingly, there is one of my late father's closest friends (while his friend lived) was a former doctor and why he convinced himself that he is a 0%-fat diet have. No one could convince him otherwise. As a result, he suffered from any number of diseases and wasting away before he passed virtually ended. The body needs some fat (Not necessarily a lot and the type of fat can make a huge difference), to metabolize proteins and carbohydrates we consume foods and to use the vitamins to nurture in our tissues and organs. Going completely fat-free can help you to lose weight, but you will end up far less healthy as a result.
Fitz talks to actress Brooke Shields about diet and exercise.
Fitness
Brooke suggests moderation in all things: “You don’t have to be crazy and you don’t have to be like an athlete… to be more fit”. She goes onto talk about how going to extremes, setting unrealistic goals proved to be counterproductive. “Find something you enjoy and stick with it.”
diet
Again attempts at extremes (going non-fat or cutting out lots of foods) backfired – resulting in weight gain. Brooke talks about finding a balance, maintaining smaller portions, giving into cravings, and an awareness of when eating is for emotional reasons.
One of the biggest problems dieters today face is getting past cravings before giving in to cravings. Of course it is a huge hurdle to jump, but it can be done and you can do it. We live in an instant gratification world. You can get just about anything you want right now. To big business this is great; people make a decision in a split second and get instant gratification.

It’s true. Hostess will slim down the Twinkie and follow suit in the newest low-calorie version trend sweeping the snack food industry. Hostess has unveiled a repackaged 100-calorie version of the iconic Twinkie, called Twinkie Bites. How good will it taste? Probably just as deliciously fattening as the original, but I don’t want to find out! I recall eating these up as a kid and loving every artery clogging bite.
