Forget about your weight, your fat or how you look for a second today and take some time to remember those that were lost 8 years ago.
Where were you on 9/11? I remember I was in bed. I was still a college kid and had class that afternoon so I decided to sleep in. Then my cousin calls me and tells me to turn on the television.
The rest is history…

It’s 11:10 PM. I’m tired. I want to work on tweaking the website. I’m sleepy. I want to go to bed.
What do I do? I get off my ass…and workout. This is what it’s going to take for me to get to where I want, and need, to be. Thanks to my wife’s consistent urging to workout last night, we did just that. 105 burpees each, followed by sprints. All done within 28 minutes.
That ain’t bad for a 288 lb fat guy and his 120+ lb wife that didn’t start doing burpees until a couple months ago. The most I’d ever done non-stop was 30 to 35 burpees. This is a new personal record.

This past week I’ve been busier than a bee. I’ve been working too many hours at the various places I volunteer. I haven’t had a free day this week and I am working tomorrow as well at the thrift store which is part of our local mission.
I got a phone call Thursday night and I start training next Wednesday for 5 days to work on the 2010 census. That’s going to be about 11 hour days by the time I drive there and back home.

This blog is like a dairy to me. I realize there are many that read it but since I don’t have personal contact with them…it’s ok. In fact, there were only three people who know of this website…..two of my sons and my husband. None of them read it very often.
I’m so upset at my husband. He took it upon himself to show my website to a couple of his friends when he was doing something to their computer Saturday. (They have to know VERY little about a computer to ask him for help.) I told him it was an invasion of my privacy.

If you have gained weight and wonder why, you need to rethink what got you to the point you are at. You need to analyze what can trigger you to over eat and to eat when you aren’t even hungry.
Some of the things you need to consider are:
1. Are you a clock eater? I remember as a kid, our family ate by the clock. Breakfast was at 7:30 am, lunch was at noon, and supper was at 5:00 pm. Hungry or not, we had to eat at those times. You need to listen to what your body is telling you and don’t eat if you aren’t hungry.
